Finding quality Made in USA hardwood Floors?

At this time most of Somerset Hardwood floors is made in the USA. You will have to check with the purchasing company. Alot of wood flooring manufacturers are having their floors made in China to lower manufacturing costs. The wood is not really made in China. Our USA logs are shipped to what I call Barge Cities. These are barges hooked together just off our coast in International waters where they turn the logs into flooring and send them back to the USA. If they really shipped them to China they could not beat our processing costs.

I used to ride mountain bikes with this guy before I moved to China. His floors are absolutely beautiful, and made in the USA.

I found Sheoga to be good for a cost/quality ratio. Then again, they're local to me so I carry that bias. I like to be able to drive over to the mill for pick-ups.
