Faux Wood Tile Over Concrete Slab

I have what appears to be faux wood tile over my concrete slab, under the carpet. I plan on installing tile on top of this stuff but my concern is whether or not this stuff contains asbestos.

The house was built in the late 60's so it very well could have asbestos in it. I'm just wondering how careful I need to be around this stuff.

Does anyone recognize what this is?

Have no idea what that is...maybe a cement tile?

It is very hard and does feel quite a bit like cement. If it is cement tile is there a chance of it containing asbestos? Also would it be ok to tile over-top of?

Faux Wood Tile Over Concrete Slab

When we scraped texture off of our ceilings, we found a company to test it using this website: http://ts.nist.gov/Standards/scopes/programs.htm
This was the lab we ended up sending our samples to: http://ts.nist.gov/Standards/scopes/2000370.htm

Also, personally, I wouldn't tile over it just because of how much height it would add to the floor, but that's just me.

I called a local lab that tests samples for asbestos. After describing the material to them, they said after testing 100,000+ samples and doing this for about 22 years they have never seen asbestos in a material like I was describing.

They said they would test it, but it was probably a waste of $30. Seems most flooring containing harmful amounts of asbestos are vinyl.
