Fastening Cement Backer board

Beside using a quick drive screw gun, What are some other brand screw guns (cheaper) that would fasten the backer board to the subfloor?

A variable speed electric drill could do it.

Rigid from Home Depot has 2 screw guns that hold strips of screws. One is corded and the other is battery powered.

Stacy,
A cordless impact does a fine job. I put down a lot of cement board with one. You should use the screws made for installing cement board. They are usually on a display right next to the cement board. Don't forget your thinset.

Use cement board screws with the square-drive.
Don't forget all cement board on floors must be installed in a bed of fresh thinset, then screwed.

1 1/4" galvanized roofing nails from a roofing nailer. Does not get any faster.
