Estimated time to Install Underlayment
 

What will be estimated time to install underlayment in 1100 sq. ft area ?

THe material - 5/8" plywood needs to be screwed onto wooden sub-floor.

I need the estimates to ensure I am being charged reasonably by my contractor.

Wide open...meaning perimeter cuts only, 1 day, 2men...interior and all cut up 2 days, 2 men maybe a day longer depending on how much cutting and fitting.

Add more time if he is moving your personal belongings, appliances, etc.

What is perimeter cut and interior cut ?

If you are doing a basketball court and only cutting around the edges that's the perimeter, if you are doing a main floor of a house with 3 bedrooms all the various interior walls are interior cuts

What is the best way to cut fiberock? I have used hardibacker before and just used a jigsaw. Is fiberock any diff??

Should be somewhere between 1100.00 and 1650.00 for labor
