Question

Epoxy Paint and Mastic Remover

I have a utility room I'm planning on painting with rustoleum epoxy floor paint. The problem is I ripped up old carpet and there is old carpet glue on the concrete under it. I tried scraping as much as I could off but it just isn't going to come off. What other options do I have? Can I use a mastic remover? Will it affect the bond with the paint if I do. Thanks for your help in advance.

What's the subfloor? Slab, plywood, OSB?

I would suggest renting a grinder you can get them at most tool rental shops.

Yes, that's what I would go with unless the area is really large, then maybe consider a large walk behind one.
