Epoxy coating

I am going to do my garage floor with epoxy and I am trying to decide how much chip content to use. It has been recommended by several company's to do a full broadcast of the, for durability, chips instead of just a few chips. Does anyone have any experience with this method?

I am going to coat the entire floor I am just trying to decide if I need to do a full broadcast or if a medium broadcast of the chips will work.

I think you can use however many of the chips you want. I recently epoxied my basement laundry room floor and I didn't want a ton of chips in it, so I just sprinkled as much as I wanted. I had a lot of the chips leftover. It has held up very well thus far. Hope this helps.

Do the chips reduce the slipperiness of the floor?

No you need to sprinkle in sand or grit to reduce the slickness. The chips are just for looks, unless you do a full broadcast, then they add to the strength of the covering.
