Engineered wooden floors

We had some engineered Bruce oak mocha floors installed and
especially in the sun BUMPS are showing all over the floor.
Can this be considered normal?

How was it installed? glued, nailed, floating? What is the subfloor? Any pictures?

if it is a floating floor and it was not installed properly, lifting can occur. There must be enough space for expansion during the warmer months. These spaces are later covered by baseboard. The larger the floor the more dramatic the effect.
