I'm not sure if I'm qualified to say that it works well, but we have it throughout the lower level (kitchen, living, mud-room) of our house. We've been in the house for 4 years and it was put in by the prior owners. It seems to be lasting pretty well. I'm always quick to wipe up water, but other than that it seems to work well.
Off topic, but we also have engineered would in two of our bathrooms (put in by the prior owners) and its lasting really well in there as well. I haven't noticed any issues with water etc.
I installed it in my brothers kitchen a few years ago . No problems .
Put a mat at the sink to catch any water spills .
