Dura Ceramic Flooring

We are looking into putting new flooring in our kitchen and laundry room. We saw the new Dura ceramic congoleum at a Home Show and really thought it looked good. My husband is very skeptical. I liked it because it was less messy to install, warmer, quieter and would not add a lot of height to the floor. What can anyone tell me about this product?

The Dura Ceramic appears to be a resilaint/vinyle floor. This type of flooring is good for many applications. I personally use another ceramic look alike in my kitchen last time. I used a laminate product. I am happy with mine. No, it is not true ceramic but I have the look I was going for. I would believe this to be the case with the Dura Ceramic. It most likely wont be a 20 year floor or anything. It will not hold up the same as a true ceramic. But it should have a good life and I would assume the cost would be cheaper and much quicker and easier to install. So, It should perform well and install well from what I have read. If you truly like the look and realizing styles change anyway and willing to put new floor in when it shows wear. Go for it. You won't have cracked and lifting tiles that can occur with the ceramic or quarry tiles.
