Deck Stain and Sealer

Hi All

So I messed up, big time. I have a 506 sq ft deck made from Redwood. We live in So Cal so the temps get pretty up there.

My issue is I used Minwax stain as I had not realized this was an indoor wood stain. By the time i realized it was too late to change it

I used Deft Defthane Polyurethane clear Satin to coat. I did 3 coats. It's been about 2 months and I have noticed that the wood seems to pool water and leave watermarks really bad.

Is there another product I can use on top of this to help or am I just screwed because I used the Minwax stain?

I appreciate any help with this.

Deck Stain and Sealer

You need to strip it entirely and put a proper product like Sikkens or Cabots on it.
