Dealing With old large cast iron radiators and new floors ???
I am thinking of installing new hardwood floors over my pine floors that are in very bad shape the only issue i am having is dealing with the large cast iron radiators as the new floor will change the height of floor so when the radiators go back in place the pipes will not match up . has anyone here delt with this issue before . thanks

in my history of dealing with this problem, remove the radiator completely from floor. install flooring. there will be a height difference. contact local plumbing supplier. they should carry adaptor for the radiator. local box stores probably wont carry the adaptor, butt they are out there. simple fix, just locate the part.
