Default cutting tile

i have to cut a tile for my bathroom floor, its just 1 tile with a circle for around the toilet flange.I dont want to spend money on something that i might not use again as its for just 1 tile.Im thinking of getting a glass cutter, scribe the circle, cut the tile in half and then break off the rest with plyers or something. Will this work or is there a better way?

thx

you could just use tile nippers. A little bite at a time will work fine. Not much to by one.
