curved saddle


one big room they half laminate the other stick on tile, the problem is there is a S shape design they want between the floor and the tile, how can I separate the rooms

That post makes little since.
#1 There two differant thickness.
#2 Peel and stuck is the lowest of the low as far as flooring goes.
#3 Laminite flooring has to float and would need a transition strip between it and any other flooring, how would you do that with a curve.

Call the flooring manufacturer and see if they have a flexible transition---there are nice ones for carpet--but if they insist on Laminate and peal and stick tile--a fancy transition that will allow the floor to move is not likely in the budget.

With a band saw and a router table--it could be fabricated--but that is going to take time--and money--seldom spent by folks who buy laminate and vinyl tile.

Probably cost more for the custom transition than their laminate and tile combined.
