Curing my new grout?

I just grouted my bathroom floor with polyblen sanded grout, the color is snow white. The question is, I read you are supposed to cure the grout by misting it with water twice a day for three days, but you are not supposed to mist tinted grout. How do I know if it is tinted or not? Isn't any color grout then technically tinted? I'm a little confused.

Where did you read that?

I borrowed a book on tiling from my dad. It's from Home Depot,
"Tiling 1-2-3."

I guess my main question is, what is tinted grout? Is it plain white grout that you add a tint to?

That book is wrong. I think that's the same book others have had issues with in the past? Even some of the methods are wrong.

Follow instructions that come with the products you're using. The book doesn't know what brands you're using. Even so, all grouts regardless of color can be damp cured. Mist it as many times as you want to for 3 days. Then seal the grout.

agreed. Book is wrong.. folllow instructions on the back of the bag.. get a grout sealer and apply it soon, and your grout will be good for many many years to come :)
