Concrete Patio

We have a brick paved patio (they have been there for 5yrs and they are very stable), but we would now like concrete. Can we lay the concrete over the existing pavers or do we have to remove they first

If you formed up for a new patio, then sure that could have pavers under it.
But I think it needs to extend *around* those pavers on all four sides.

Will the extra height interfere with anything like doors?

I'd never suggest any DIY build there own patio, your not going to have the tools or know how.

I agree with Joe. I grew up pouring concrete. A patio is not for the DIYer.

Concrete Patio

Thanks everyone. My friend is going to do it for us ( he does it for a living) but we have had some conflicting stories about leaving the pavers down but before asking my friends opinion I wanted to get others advise as I don't want to offend him.
Thanks
