concrete basement - installing laminate on delta

Hi,

I'm finally at the step in my basement project to install my floor.

I have about 900 sq. ft. total and my concrete basement is very even. There are a few small cracks here and there but for the most part, it's a great floor.

I have purchased Delta to roll out and will then place a 2-in-1 vapor barrier on top of it. I'll place the laminate on top of the vapor barrier.

When I roll out the Delta, I will be overlapping it a bit, can I use Tuck Tape (the red stuff) to tape it together?

When I put down the 2-in-1, do I need to tape those together with Tuck Tape as well?

I think I will be putting down 1 or 2 rows of Delta and 2-in-1 and then some laminate. I'll repeat this until complete. Unless someone recommends I lay down the entire floor with Delta and 2-in-1 right away.

Any recommendations and information is greatly appreciated.

Shawn

Don't do it....

Laminate is not a "below grade" product.

Moisture will find its way into your flooring and moisture and laminate don't mix.
