COLD concrete FLOOR...help

Hello all...big delemma here...i have a family room that is build over my garage and the floor is a concrete slab..the walls and ceiling are insulated well and there are two heat vents that were added as an extention from the house furnace..however..the floor is cold..there is padding and thin carpet there now, but the floor is still cold....

do i get better thicker carpet and padding? Do i get radiant floor heat for under the carpet? do i insulate under neath...please help..

COLD concrete FLOOR...help

there is heat pads you can install and get hooked up by an electrician.

Products like: NUHEAT and such work great.
Or a nice WOOL padding for under the carpet would probably be more affordable.
