closet door brackets
Hi, I put in a new laminate floor, and realize that I wasn't there when somebody yanked out the brackets that appear to anchor the swinging bi-fold closet doors (you know, four panes, two on each side, each side has a jointed break in them).
My question is - since this is a laminate (floating) floor, can I/should I avoid screwing these into the floor?
Visual inspection seems to indicate they were screwed into the wall and the floor when this was carpet.
Thanks in advance for any tips!
Just attach them to the jamb not the floor. That type flooring needs to move.
