Default cleaning tile grout

Does anyone have a suggestion for the best product to use for cleaning grout that is very dirty??

TSP often works fine depending on the type of dirt. You can try it since as a homeowner you have time to experiment. When I clean and seal floors I don't have the luxury of trying several things. I use tile and grout cleaners which contain acid made just for the purpose. There are many available.

Is this wall or floor tile grout? If it's wall tile grout, by "dirty" do you mean mildewed?

This is how janitors typically do it:



That's just an ordinary floor machine turning a rotary scrub brush, like one of the two shown below.



Whether or not the guy doing the cleaning is using TSP in his solution tank, I dunno.
