Changing Kitchen Flooring from tile to Hardwood? Regarding taking cabinets up?

I have a tiled kitchen, however i put hardwood in two of the three rooms coming from the kitchen, now the tile is cracking, and coming up, and we want to replace with 3/4 inch hardwood. The tile is about less than 1/2 inch below the rest of the hardwood levels, HOWEVER i have a problem, the cabinets. Im sure most of yall have faced this but... Even though i thought of "not" taking the cabinets up and just put molding around, I worry about the dishwasher coming in and out (i have to replace often, as i always get a lemon) and i worry that it wont come in and out. It definately would be easier, but not sure what to do? Anyone have any suggestions? As i just looked at my dishwasher and ITS toekick is a good couple inches out from the wood toe kicks, not sure how to do this without taking the cabinets out and hardwood flooring under them? thanks guys!

if you pull the lower cover off and see how high the dishwasher is off of the floor. see if you screw the legs up all the way would yo have room for the hardwood to slip under the dishwasher. also check at the top and see if it could be raised any higher. you should be able to figure out if there would be enough clearance to get it out later.

Thanks DannyT, I think my hubby said that it didnt have much leway at all, just my luck huh? I never can get anything right. I had a bar built custom made by me and my dad, and we built it with a Fridgidaire Oven, the slide in kind, well wouldnt ya know it, they are suppose to be the SAME but it went out and i went to replace it and got a maytag, guess what? yeap, i now have saw marks around my oven yet my cabinets are so tight the drawers wont hardly open. So much for universal. Also the dishwashers have seemed to run different in depth and everything, its just the way they install etc. Not sure what to do? If they would make them all the same i would feel less uneasy

There are two ways to get the clearance you need--raise the cabinets--or raise just the counter top by adding 3/4 inch strips of wood to the top of the cabinets.
