Ceramic tile & paint
I have to remove paint (white latex) from a ceramic tile floor which appears not to have been sealed by previous owners (appears as if neither tile nor grout were sealed). The tile is brown 'pattern' (not one color) & textured. Have tried 'Goof Off' but it does not seem to penetrate enough to lift the paint to the surface. Any ideas would be appreciated.

i'd try a paint stripper product such as 'strypeeze' to soften it first and then wipe the residue out with a terry cloth rag.
that should do it, i would think. be sure to follow instructions on the can in regards to ventilation, etc.

in the past I have had to do just that, remove paint from tile flooring. I have had some success with a heat gun to WARM the paint and then remove it by using a rough scrubbing pad and thinners ( depends on type of paint, oil or latex). Careful not to get tiles hot as they can break easily on you
