Ceramic Tile: Mixed Sizes

Murdy Member     Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: Illinois Posts: 36	Ceramic Tile: Mixed Sizes We're laying our bathroom floor and using tile of mixed sizes. (12, 6, & 4 inch). Do I use the trowel for the largest size of tile? Or some other size? Thanks.

oh'mike Super Moderator   Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: Kane county,Illinois Posts: 16,283	Ceramic Tile: Mixed Sizes Use the trowel for the largest size--mix the mud so that it is just a bit stiff--this will help prevent the smaller tiles from sinking below the level of the larger tiles.--Mike-- __________________ New members: Adding your location to your profile helps in many ways.--M--
