Cement Crack Sealer or Cement Resurfacer to fix a 1/8" crack

Hi ,

I am preparing my cement subfloor to install a laminate floor. I have a 1/8" crack about 8 feet long. I don't see a noticable difference in height of both of the sides of the crack, however, it does look like the crack is very slightly raised up.

HomeDepot sells Quikrete Concrete Repair, Quikrete Gray Concrete Crack Seal, and Quikrete self-levelling Polyurethane Sealant.

I called the company and they are telling me that I should not use any of the above because they are caulk based and are not meant to be covered. They said that I should be using the Vinyl cement patcher or the quikrete cement resurfacer.

What do you think is the best way to handle this crack, before I put down the underlayment and laminate?

Thanks.

I would use one of the concrete restoration and repair products from Abatron. Call customer support to see what they recommend.
