Cement board and thinset

What is the difference between fiberglass tape for cement board and and drywall mesh tape?

Cement board and thinset

Drywall mesh tape will deteriorate when exposed to the lime in cement--rendering it useless after a short time.

Best to spend the money on tilers mesh.---Mike---

Cement board and thinset

About $2 a roll.
