Question

Carpeting VS carpet squares

I have a class A motor home and would like to replace the carpet myself. The problem comes , when I need to carpet the engine cover. It has rounded curves. It was also glued. I could use carpet squares on the main floor but what to do with the engine cover. Any ideas? Someone said you have to steam the regular carpet to work. Can you glue carpet squares?

Carpeting VS carpet squares

The carpet squares may not conture to the shape of the engine cover.
