Carpet stain removal -help

I am about to sell my home and would like to get help on removing red stains on family room carpet for over a year. The red stains were from the kool-aid like drink my son had. I have tried to use carpet spot-shot cleaner which in very good on anything else, red stain remover from Lowe's , and professional steam cleaning, however, all failed. Can you please provide any better solution to this? Thank you in advance.

My wife and I swear by SHOUT. The spot cleaner for clothes. Works wonders on our carpeting.

The stain is about 6 x 6" size, and there are a few small stains (about dime size) around the big stain. Any suggestions are appreciated.

If you have a closet that has this same style of carpet then you could cut out a replacement piece for the stained areas.

If the room is about avarage in size then it may be to your benefit to just have the carpet replaced. It would make the house sell faster and you should recoup the money back that you spend on the new carpet.

If you have hardwood flooring under the carpet in this room that is in good shape then it may be just as easy to remove the carpet in this room and show off the hardwood floor.
