Carpet + padding vs laminate (12mm) + padding (3mm)
 

Hi,

We are planning to have mix of laminate & carpet in our basement. We have bought 12mm laminate with additional 3mm padding (total 15mm) without realizing that there could significant difference in height between laminate and carpet. I would like to know if there will be any & how much height different between laminate & carpet areas. We will prefer them equally levelled for easy transition. Please let me know.
