Carpet Bars

Hi Folks,

I've just had a stairwell carpet installed in our offices but the installer never laid carpet bars to the timber door saddles on one of the floors. Is there any spoecific reason not to do this?I would have thought that a bar would keep the carpet edge more secure and prevent it from coming loose?Any advice much appreciated!

Cheers,

Brendan.

If the saddle has enogh of a lip to tuck carpet to, there is no need for the metal
