Cannot remove haze from tile grout

I have scrubbed my dark brown grout with grout haze remover twice now to remove the haze or efflorescence from it, only to have it come back each time it dries. It seems to get worse each time I do this and rinse the floor. What can I do to remove the haze? Will a colored sealer cover this up? I would really rather remove the haze though.

Please help! I want to finish this half bath project soon.

There is no way your problem is efflorescence, I believe it's polymer migration. Polymer migration is caused by mixing the grout with too much water or using too much water too soon in the cleanup.

You should contact the manufacturer of the grout you used and seek their recommendation as there are many type of polymers they could have used. They'll recommend either a solvent or a strong cleaner most likely. They might say to use an acid cleaner though.
