can I reuse mortar bed ?

the ceramic tiles in my bathroom are on a mortar bed. They are very solid (nothing loose here or there). I want to replace them with something that look nicer.

I started taking couple of tiles out, without breaking too much of the mortar bed. If I do that carefully from now on, I think the mortar bed can be kept in good condition.

Can I reuse the mortar bed ?
