Can I install Lam Flooring without clearing room?

Planning on installing Quick Step Lam Flooring in 2 story unit condo/townhouse, 1st level living room over concrete above grade slab and 2 bedrooms on 2nd level wood sub floor. The place is around 1000sf. I'm living in the unit while remodeling and don't have place to store 2nd floor larger furniture to clear rooms.

Is there a reason from a risk of faulty installation point of view that I can't shove the furniture to one end of the room, lay the lam flooring up to the furniture, then move the furniture onto the area I just laid the lam flooring, then finish laying flooring on remaining area?

Any thoughts advice appreciated.

That's what I did when I put it in our "home office." Did not want to disassemble the Computer Desk, so I decided where I was going to start, moved the big furniture to the opposite side of the room and started laying the floor on the "uncovered" section. Laid it up to the furniture, moved the furniture onto the laminate and continued laying the floor. Been three years and no problems. Laid over concrete.

Yes you can, I've done many that way. Just protect the new floor when moving the furniture, especially the edge, take a piece of scrap and fit it in where you move the furniture so you don't take a divot out.
