Building Cabin.. Can I use cedar deck 5/4 radiusx6 on floors?

Ok the title says it all. I'm building a 2 story cabin . The floor is all on 16" centers. I was looking at cedar decking and found 5/4 radius x6 real cheap. I read you can butt this type against each other. Now the question is. Can I kill 2 birds with 1 stone and use this as a sub/ floor? If not why?

You can but I would not. The problem you will have will be flex from one board to another. Also if one board starts to warp then there is nothing to stop it. Eventually the floor would not be very flat. A tongue and grooved flooring would be better. If I was building a two story cabin and was going to have an open ceiling, I would use a 2x6 tongue and grove pine.

Dave.
