Bubbles in Hardwood finish

We had engineered hardwood installed last year (professionally, I want to add) and I am noticing patches of bubbles (literally looks like tiny bubbles on the top and they are a lighter color than the planks). One plank has what looks like wrinkles that are getting bigger and taller almost like it's being squeezed.

What happened? Any thoughts, please help

No picture, no brand name?
Moisture from above or below can cause this.
What room is it in?
Crawl space below with no vaper barrier under it?
Was there a vaper barrier installed under the flooring?

Sorry,

Hand-scraped, engineered, Bellawood, Tobacco Road. We installed it in the foyer leading to the living room and down the hall leading to the bathrooms. It was glued down.

No way should an engineered floor fail like that in that short a time.
Get ahold of Bella and have then send a rep out to look at it.

Unless an exterminator told you that---you are just being pushed out the door by the clerk---request a person from Bella check it out---

By the way Joe was a bug man for some time----I think he would have recovnized insect damage---

Looks like finish failure---could be:
Bad product
Moisture from below
wrong glue---
Something else---

Is the damage in only one area?

See any ice pick sized holes through the flooring?
See any mud tunnels.
See any chewed up wood?

The guy at LLiquid told me that is what it look liked. To be honest I just don't know what to ask for nor what the problem is. I was given corporates number which concerns me because I feel like this is going to be looonnnggg battle. And @ Joe, no ice pick marks, tunnels or chewed wood. All I see from what I can describe is the planks at some places looks like they are being squished to create wrinkles and those dang bubbles. I am putting a call in tomorrow morning to corporate and Virginia Mills...

I cannot express the gratitude I have towards you guys that have commented and gave me your opinions. We spent $7K on this floor from soup to nuts, we are trying to care and add value to our home but we are feeling a little defeated by all the run a rounds.

@ Oh Mike, No it is not "isolated" it is spread out on different planks throughout our living room but I do want to mention that we covered about 750sq ft with this wood and only found problems in our living room.

You guys are awesome! thanks for your time from a girl in central florida
