We have a problem in a house our preacher lives in. Lowe's installed some laminate flooring and for some reason there is a hump in on spot that is springy when you step on it. We took the flooring up and we didn't find anything under the flooring or any reason it would be humped and springy in just one small spot.
My question is this, is there a type of glue I could glue that one spot down? There is plenty of clearance for the floor to move so that isn't the problem. I was thinking maybe use a butyl caulk to glue that spot down as the butyl caulk doesn't completely harden and would move if the flooring expanded or contracted. Will this work or what should I use?
