I'm about to start to project to install 360 ft2 of 46"x11.5" Dupont Elite laminate, and am trying to figure out the best power tool to buy for the project (my tool kit is limited to hand tools that have served my well to date !).
The floor area is very complex, so I'm going to be doing a lot of rip and cross cuts. After several hours research I am down to either
Rockwells Versacut or the
Skil 7 amp flooring saw.The Versacut looks to be the most flexible, and would be come in handy for many other DIY projects after this one. But he Skil flooring saw is purpose made for the job, and has great reviews, though I'm still trying to figure out if it can handle my board size for all possible cut sizes.
I would welcome any advice before parting with my money, either on my shortlisted tools or any others.
