berber carpet glued onto nice linoleum floor 25 years ago

Over 25 years ago, we had berber carpet installed over a nice linoleum floor. The carpet was glued. I am wondering if the carpet can be removed? How hard will it be to remove it? And more importantly, what are the chances that the linoleum floor would still be nice after removing the carpet and glue? thanks

Really no way to know until you remove the carpet.
