Bathroom walls

Years ago we put up laminated panneling in the bathroom. I want to remove it and just paint the walls. My question is - so I have to do something special after I sand off the glue to prep the walls for painting?

Oh the joys of DIY - so many questions so little time.

I could have sworn THIS was a FLOORING page, let me look, yup it is. Thought so.

First see if the adhesive is even going to sand off, then come back and talk about it if you need some help.
