Bathroom flooring reno


I am replacing a tub, toilet, vanety, etc., and have a question. Once the old items are removed, is it best to run new lino, or whatever floor covering, under the tub or just to the side wall? Is there a preferred way and why?

i put the tub in. then do the flooring.
