basement subfloor when slab has xps

I found out that my basement slab has 3" of XPS foam under the concrete before you get to the gravel.

I wanted to put 1"+ of XPS down on the slab to insulate it before I found this out, I still want to make it a little softer and put a plywood subfloor down. Would it be ok to take it down to 1/2" of XPS like the barricade subfloor tiles have since insulation and vapor entry aren't really a concern now that I know about the XPS

Putting plywood on a slab is a bad idea no matter how you do it.
