Basement Flooring Question

I am nearly done with putting up the drywall. Thus on to the next phase and have a few questions. This is a dedicated HT in a basement on concrete.:

1. Should I mud the walls all the way to the concrete floor? (Sheets are vertical) Yes

2. My riser will be an island in the room ie. will not touch any of the walls. Was thinking laying the carpet on the floor then building the riser on top of the carpet. Or should I build the riser before carpeting? Yes If so, how would I go about attaching the Island Riser to the concrete floor? Screw sleepers to floor and then attach island to sleepers. Just like a kitchen island.

3. Should the moulding where the floor meets the walls be put up before carpeting? Yes. But leave 3/8-1/2" space below baseboard for the carpet to tuck under.

4. Any recommendations on a threshold for my soundproof door, it is 2 3/8" thick? Was thinking this: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Frost-Kin...8#.UjU2rj-Hua8
I'd prefer wood, but to each his own.

5. Should the threshold go in before or after carpet? Before.

6. Should the threshold go in then the door stops brought down to the top of the threshold? Yes.

Thank you.

Hope this helps.

Basement Flooring Question

Yes it does thank you. What would be the best way to attach the wood threshold to the concrete floor?

Anyone?

Also, do you line up the front of the threshold with the front of the door?
