Basement Floor toliet flange

We are tilling our basement bathroom concrete floor. The toliet flange looks like it needs to be replaced. The screws are too short when we put the tile temporaily on the floor and then put the toliet on the top. Can we just replace the screws longer screws?

The flange should be level with the flooring that the toilet is on.

Either do something else for the flooring there...
or plan to replace the flange (not a small job).

ps: while you're breaking up the floor for the new toilet rough in...
consider adding a shower stall nearby.

Why, is it broken? If not, leave it.

Get longer bolts, then cut off the excess.

Pull out the old bolts and throw them away---buy new longer bolts---if the flange is still good use it.

Post a picture---I'm confused.
