basement floor not level
My husband and I are going to install wood laminate flooring in the basement. We had radiant heat put in the basement floor when we were building and now the floor has cracked in places and is not level. How do we go about leveling the floor and is there anything simple to use like a self leveling cement or epoxy that we can use. Thanks for any help or responses given.

If your floor has cracked and is now not level, you have problems that could continue.

Since it is now not level, it does not sound like typical shrinkage cracks.

Find out why the floor has settled or heaved since it was built before you stat finishing.

if this cracks is caused by the radiant heat... it will crack again if you continue to use the radiant heat I suppose even you seal them up... if you no longer use the radiant heat... then I suppose you can fix the cracks with concrete mix.... but crack is crack... why would crack make a floor unlevel... is it so cracky that it looks like after an earth quark.... just curious... I am by no means an expert... just curious....
