Basement floor

Had an open drain in basement floor. Laminate flooring was put down with a moisture barrier underneath. Found an area where it bubbled in between some of the flooring there was mold. Pulled the flooring up and underneath moisture barrier it is all wet. What can be done? Basement was never wet.

Basement floor

Hi Angela, welcome

You've got a wet basement or a leak. It may not have appeared damp before, but now it's covered and the moisture can't evaporate easily.

Wet floors, no place for wood products.
