baseboard- tile and laminate floor same room

HI
Just getting to the end of a big reno of my living/dining room. Because there is a wood stove in the room, I have tiled from the entry to the woodstove and surrounding area. There will be laminate placed on either side of the tile. There are two walls that will need baseboard that have both tile and laminate flooring. In the heating season, a large iron wood holder sits near the fire- I want to have a tile baseboard in that area - due to ice, snow and bark debris.
Any suggestions for the transition between wood baseboard/tile baseboard?
I was thinking of putting all tile baseboard on the two walls - then what do we do at the corners, where I plan to put wood baseboard, as the walls move into all laminate flooring?
