Baseboard Question

I am new here and am slowly learning how to navigate this site ... I wasn't sure where to put this question ...

What are those plastic baseboards called that are commonly found in bathrooms and kitchens? They are about 5 inches tall ... and look to be glued on?

I am painting my kitchen and would LOVE to put normal baseboards in but i'm not quite that talented yet! So I would like to buy new plastic baseboard things ...

1. What are they called?
2. How do I take old ones off?
3. What is the best way to put new ones on? What kind of glue?

Thank you so much!

Baseboard Question

Cove base. Use cove base adhesive. The old ones should just pull off, but be careful, you can damage the walls. You can also stick a drywall knife behind them to help get them loose.
