Backerboard over concrete

I'm getting ready to tile the kitchen in my new construction. There is a porch that runs the entire back of the house, which is poured in concrete. A bay window in the kitchen protrudes out into the porch a couple of feet. So the kitchen subfloor is Advantech plywood everywhere exept at the bay window, which is concrete. I'm using 1/4" backerboard throughout the kitchen. The concrete is flush with the plywood ad some places and 1/4" lower at other places...

How should I handle the area at the bay window?
