So my wife and I were looking at purchasing some hardwood floors and we found that IKEA sells some at $2.69 a square foot. The stuff looks all right but I'm not sure about the snap together with plastic strips locking system or that fact that it is only .39 inches thick. Anyone have any experience with the installation and durability of this flooring?
We have not used IKEA flooring, but I have been researching IKEA products because of some furniture and cabinet pieces we are strongly considering. From the blog messages I have seen, most people do not recommend IKEA appliances, countertops or flooring because for the same money you can get better products. I would suggest you check Lumber Liquidators and see what they have in your price range.
