Any opinions on this product:
Minwax® Super Fast-Drying Polyurethane for Floors
A durable clear finish topcoat specifically formulated for hardwood floors. It is fast-drying, does not need sanding betwwen coats and levels to a smooth even sheen.

Is it true that it does not need sanding between coats? How can this be?

there are actually several finishes that do not need to be sanded between coats. it's called hot coating. you need to get the next coat on b4 the first one cures...usually within 12 to 24 hours to get whats called a chemical bond as opposed to the mechanical bond you get with inter coat abrasion. the only thing is you better have a surgically clean surface to coat if you plan on not sanding b4 the final

Thanks, SM1:
I believe that they say that it is ready for the second coat within a few hours.

Uh, "surgically clean"????
