We have a small master bath I'm re-tiling with faux wood ceramic tile. I also want to use the tiles as the baseboard, but it's a pretty unique look and doesn't have any matching bullnose tiles. The problem I have is with the base of the shower. The old tiles I pulled were bullnose, but the new tiles will have the flat edge completely exposed when entering/existing the shower. Any suggestions for the proper finish? A bead of caulk on the top doesn't seem thick enough or look the best. Is metal edging an option? Any problems with the metal coming into contact with moisture?
There are trim pieces, rail moldings, pencil rails, rope liners and others you could also consider for your bathroom ceramic tile floors. Also stop in a local showroom to try to get some ideas as well.
