allure vinyl flooring


Can a steam mop be used on Allure flooring??? Will it damage the adhesive???

Since steam is approx >200 degrees, I would think it would soften the glue and lead to problems. Read the maintenance info that they offer with the floor (see HD website if you lost it) and follow their instructions. Otherwise, no warranty.

allure vinyl flooring


water is not the friend of any type of wood floor. That being said I think the allure floor has a wax impregnated tongue. Check your spec sheet that came with the floor or google it online. If you go ahead and use the steamer don't let it rest in one spot on the floor. keep it moving and lift it off when you are done.

Allure isn't wood floor. It is vinyl plank.
